Copenhagen dub maestro Mikkel Metal will release his fourth full-length later this month.Peaks and Troughs , the album will see the producer working for the first time with a vocalist on his dub-drenched tunes. Metal has enlisted electronic dub voice du jour Paul St. Hilaire, who has appeared on records by Basic Channel , Deadbeat and Modeselektor . Like those appearances, St. Hilaire doesn't dominate the entire album: He only pops up on four of the eleven tracks, but his voice lingers throughout, giving the record a cohesive feel.
