  • After their hugely successful first event, Why Not return with yet another dubstep-only shindig at London's Scala.

  • Why Not return to London's Scala on Friday 28th November with a line-up of over 30 dubstep DJs. You might think that having 30 dubstep DJs play over the course of the night would be a bit much. The promoters of this London event are throwing caution to the wind and just exclaiming "why not?," hence the name of their sporadic event at London's Scala later this month. Whether you prefer the more techno-influenced dubstep peddled by Appleblim and Headhunter, or the heavier stepping rhythms of Caspa and Distance, you're sure to find something of interest here. Joining those four will be Skream, Kode9, Plastician, Pinch, Ramadanman and Ikonika amongst others, while there will be a special "Roots of Dubstep" room celebrating the artists that helped start the genre, with sets from scene pioneers such as El–B, Artwork, Horsepower and Coki. Even have a passing interest in the genre and want to see what the big fuss is all about, Why Not would be a great place to get inaugurated into the world of murky bass and steppin' rhythms.
