- The RA readership will call the shots in our year-end list of the world's greatest DJs.
DJing: It's an artform like few others, and one that too often goes underrecognized. DJs can transform a good party into a great one, and turn a previously solid night into a disaster. Sometimes they've even been rumoured to save lives.
There are tons of DJs out there and sometimes it's hard to know who is consistently rocking parties around the globe, which is why this year we're asking you—the RA readers—to tell us who's been taking things to another level. That's right: you're calling the shots for our year-end DJ poll.
Online polling? Yeah, we know the problems—and the issues of multiple registrations, fake email accounts, IP-switch-voting and countless other forms of cheating are of fundamental concern. Which is why users that haven't already registered aren't eligible to vote. (Sorry, there's always next year.)
One final thing to remember before jumping off to vote. There is a difference between DJs and live acts and we're going to be making that distinction, which means people like Mathew Jonson, Booka Shade, Daft Punk, and Justice aren't eligible for this particular poll.
