- The Liverpudlian edit legend helps Newcastle's Habit celebrate their 4th birthday on Boxing Day.
Boxing Day: a time where most of us end up relaxing with the family over the Christmas holidays. Not for the Habit lads in Newcastle, though: They're hosting Greg Wilson for their 4th birthday party.
Habit usually draft in guests who are on more of a house and techno bent, but this Boxing Day they've drafted in the man behind the Credit To The Edit series, who'll be bringing up his laptop and reel-to-reel for a performance that takes in disco, funk, Italo and electro. If his sets at this year's Bestival were anything to go by, then it looks like the people at Habit are in for a treat come the 26th.
The date will also see Habit return to 600 capacity World Headquarters venue—one regarded by the night's promoters as its "spiritual home." Seriously, is there a better way to celebrate Christmas than to get spiritual with Greg Wilson? We're sure your grandparents will understand.
