RA recently meet with Danny Howells and spoke to him about various upcoming events, and releases including that of his latest track 'Dusk Til Dawn', which he worked on with his good friend and producer Dick Trevor. Howells also goes into detail about his recent experiences at the world's largest dance music gathering, the Miami Winter Music Conference that took place last month and talks about his amusing Sydney Harbor Bridge crossing with fellow DJ, producer and comedian Cass. Storm, a night with has created a huge following in the UK with its unique concepts and ideas for making no two parties the same will begin a monthly residency in Melbourne at Seven this coming weekend. This day party will also double as the official PVD/ Kabuki After Party. Storm’s philosophy was stated in a recent press release:A highly successful UK night, Storm, is setting up a monthly residency in Australia's clubbing capital. Formed in the late nineties, Kosheen are the trio of Markee Substance, Darren Decoder and Sian Evans. The band caught first the world’s attention with the release of their track “Hide U.” Originally a drum n bass number, the song reached wider audiences after it was treated to a remix by progressive masters John Creamer and Stephane K and played by John Digweed. From then onwards the song was caned to death in clubs, and subsequently on radio as the first single from their debut album “Resist.”Polecat recently managed to put the breaks on band member Darren Decoder and caught up with him to discuss topics ranging from their beginnings through to their perception in the public eye.
