For its first festival, Beyond 2002, will includes a stellar line-up with Snoop Dogg, OutKast, Busta Ryhmes, Ice-T, Method Man, Afrika Bambaataa, Jackel and Hyde, Rabbit in the moon, Ludacris and many more. The festival incorporates music and extreme sports together for 25 hours of heart-stopping, bass pumping fun. Beyond 2002 will be hosted in Miami’s Bicentennial Park from 12th to 14th of April. New Order's co-production with The Chemical Brothers, titled 'Here To Stay' does not feature on New Order's latest album 'Get Ready' but will be released on the soundtrack of the upcoming movie '24 Hour Party People'. The track will also be released as a single on the 1st of April. Gatecrasher have made some fundemental changes to the way it runs its weekly Saturday night events by extending the time allowed for DJ sets. They Policies change is mainly focused on ensuring that there is just one headlining DJ playing longer sets of up to four hours. This much needed extra time gives the DJs alot more to work with, develop their set and provide a much better experience for the clubbers. Scot Project is featuring this Saturday and will be playing a four-hour set alongside residents Nick Riley and Matt Hardwick at the club in Sheffield. On March the 9th Timo Maas will be playing for three hours and Judge Jules [who will be playing at Sydney's sublime@home on March the 21st] now has a bi-monthly residency at the Republic. With a large number of internationals appearing for the Easter Long weekend it is good to see two of Sydneys most well known events have joined forces to put on an all local affair.
