- The Danish punk-funkers unveil details of their sophomore album.
Danish trio WhoMadeWho will release their second full-length early next year.
The Danish punk-funkers have come a long way since dropping their debut Two Covers For Your Party 12-inch (which contained covers of Mr. Oizo and Benny Benassi, no less), with the band even being asked to play the headlining slot at last year's Benicassim festival after Klaxons failed to show up.
On The Plot, the trio revisit the blend of disco, funk and techno that they showed us on their self-titled debut, with plenty of added pop sheen. Lead-off single "TV Friend" (watch the video here) sees them working a myriad of instruments (including the much ignored oboe) and minimal techno beats into their low-slung formula. Expect many more weird and wonderful arrangements when the record hits the shops early next year.
