- The Berghain resident has started a new label.
Berghain resident and label owner Len Faki will add yet another imprint to his hefty roster later this year.
The DJ/producer has announced details surrounding the launch of Figure SPC, a label that will feature "more timeless sounds," Faki told RA in an exclusive interview. "Sounds that last forever. Not necessarily only for the dance floor, but for the heart and soul," he continued.
Kicking things off for the label will be Rotterdam's Jeroen Search, who will provide a three-part limited edition set of 12-inches. When asked what it was about Search's work that inspired him to create another label, Faki told us that he's "loved Jeroen's sounds for years. Always been timeless, deep techno. But actually it wasn't Jeroen alone. [I've] received so much great material from various artists in all sorts of styles, that didn't really fit into the concept of Figure and Podium, but I definitely wanted to give them a platform so SPC was born."
