- Telemark will come out on Prins Thomas's label this September.
Marius Våreid will release his first album, Telemark, this September on Full Pupp.
Våreid's career as a solo producer is still in its early stages, but his musical history stretches all the way back to the '80s, when Swedish radio host Mats Neileskjär inspired him to pick up his first set of decks. He's played in a couple of different duos, first Päronsoda, then Ytre Rymden Dansskola, and made his solo debut on Prins Thomas's Full Pupp label in 2008. It's not hard to see why Thomas took him under his wing: Våreid's sound is a laidback, sun-kissed style of disco that fits the Norwegian label's style to a T.Telemark combines previously unreleased tracks with selections from his past 12-inches.
