The new London series returns with Ostgut Ton, Dial, Innervisions, A Bunch of Cuts and more.
Broken & Uneven have released details for a new series of events this summer and fall called The Hydra.
A joint effort by Electric Minds and Ajay Jayaram, one of the main forces behind bygone London favourite The End, Broken & Uneven launched earlier this year with a "Beta V1.0" string of parties. While those events took place at a variety of London clubs, The Hydra will set up shop in its own "undisclosed East London location," complete with Funktion One sound and the series' lauded visuals.
The Hydra will begin much the same way Broken & Uneven did: with an Ostgut Ton showcase, this time featuring Marcel Dettmann, Marcel Fengler, Surgeon, Prosumer and label head Nick Höppner. A Bunch of Cuts reappear on the programme as well, with a release party for DRS' upcoming album on Marcus Intalex's label, Soul:r. Efdemin, Lawrence, John Roberts and Roman Flügel headline a Dial night in September, where Redshape will play live as Palisade, his deep house guise. Deviation's fifth birthday will have an especially eclectic lineup, with Moodymann slotted in next to Kode9 and Hudson Mohawke. Innervisions and Permanent Vacation split the bill later that month, with Dixon, Âme, Tensnake, Todd Terje and Prins Thomas all confirmed.
The Hydra will host an R&S showcase on November 23rd, though details for that one are still forthcoming. The schedule's final event is the following night: a NonPlus and Workshop party with Boddika, Joy Orbison, Kassem Mosse, Lowtec and more.
Tickets to all of The Hydra events are available here on RA.
