- Due out in October via Turbo, the compilation will feature 16 cuts of "hardcore Scottish hooligan techno."
Clouds have put together a compilation for Turbo Recordings called ...I Care Because You Don't.
Scottish pair Calum Macleod and Liam Robertson have been releasing rough-hewn club music since 2010, putting out multiple EPs and an album through Tiga's Turbo label. For their next project, they've brought together 16 cuts of locally-sourced techno, "which they‘ve A&R‘d out of thin air, apparently from their mates in Dundee, Perth, and the surrounding mudlands," according to the press release. Alongside two brand new tracks of their own—"Blood Skating" and "Don't Sweat The Technique"—the LP features music from Dance Company, Space Runner and DJ Hesburger. The latter's contribution, "Roll Up Your Sleeves, Welcome to the Dance", can be streamed below.
