  • Robert Del NajaMassive Attack band member Robert Del Naja (aka 3D) has made the headlines for all the wrong reasons of late. The child pornography scandal has even to a degree overshadowed the February release of Massive Attacks ‘100th Window’ album in some fields of press and has been a hot point of discussion around the water coolers in many a dance music media offices. Del Naja has always protested his innocence and denied any of the charges. In a statement on February 25 when he was official arrested he said “I have never looked at child pornography in my life. I am fully cooperating with the police and I would ask everyone not to judge me prematurely." In a statement by British police they revealed that the charges had been dropped because of “insufficient evidence” The police investigation and raid on his house did however uncover drugs, which has landed him in water on the warm side of timid, but far from the boiling waters he would have sizzled in had he been convicted of viewing child pornography. In good news for Massive Attack Fans the group has planned a full European tour which will see them travel from April 8 until July 24.
