- Step By Step – Adventures in Sequencing with Max/MSP is out now.
Cycling '74, the software company behind the visual programming language Max/MSP, has published a book called Step By Step – Adventures in Sequencing with Max/MSP.
The 272-page guide was written by Gregory Taylor, the long-time Max expert responsible for the crucial suite of tutorials on the Cycling '74 website. Beginning with a simple step sequencer patch, Taylor slowly expands the system, introducing readers to new concepts and ideas along the way.
Autechre's Sean Booth provided a testimonial for the book, saying, "Gregory is a brilliant communicator and his tutorials are always super clear and accessible, and have been invaluable over the years to both us and the wider Max community.
