- Suspiria Limited Edition Unreleased Material comes out in February via The Vinyl Factory/XL Recordings.
Thom Yorke has revealed a limited-vinyl companion EP to his soundtrack for Luda Guadagnino's Suspiria.
The record, out in February via The Vinyl Factory and XL Recordings, consists of seven unheard tracks made during the Radiohead member's scoring sessions for the 2018 horror remake. As with the original score, Suspiria Limited Edition Unreleased Material was produced and recorded by Yorke and Sam Petts-Davies and performed by The London Contemporary Orchestra and choir. The seven-track EP will come out on vinyl only in an edition of 1500.
The closing tune off Yorke's Suspiria OST, "Suspirium," made the shortlist for the Oscars' Best Original Song category. Yorke recently told Variety that he hopes it gets nominated. "That would be great, because it was a year and a half in my life, and I worked bloody hard on it. So, you know, sometimes it's nice to be recognized," he said.
