- The LP is out in October.
Dark Entries is releasing the first album from Photonz.
The label says the title Nuit is a reference to both the night and the "Egyptian goddess of the stars," and that the album was inspired by the idea of "freedom of form under the night sky," taking influence from "early techno, Drexciyan rhythms, Balearic and atmospheric house." The vinyl artwork is centered around duality and features hieroglyphs designed by Eloise Leigh.
Marco Rodrigues is a staple of the Lisbon scene and has released records on labels such as Unknown To The Unknown, Crème Organisation, 20:20 Vision and Naive, which is run by his partner Violet (who also has an album coming out on Dark Entries). He's also a cofounder of Lisbon's sex-positive queer party mina and Rádio Quântica and used to run a label called One Eyed Jacks.
