"It's all gone Pete Tong", a phrase suggesting that things have turned slightly pear shaped and heavily used amongst the dance music industry. Now it’s the name of a successful feature film and which recently won the Toronto City Award for best Canadian Feature Film in 2004 at their international film festival and is set for a larger global release this year beginning in March 2005.
The film follows the rise of a budding DJ, who rises to the top of the international circuit and will even feature BBC Radio One DJ Pete Tong in charge of the soundtrack. Pete is known to many for his work on the Human Traffic soundtrack and like that, this will have a full release of its own. EMI imprint Positiva will have the soundtrack out in shops to combine with the films March release date.
