  • It's easy to jump on the German bandwagon. The music is both beautiful and energetic. bPitch leader Ellen Allien is a stunning example, delivering dance floor favourites from her Stadtkind and Berlinette albums, while also producing intricate remixes for artists across the continent. Joining Ellen on Saturday night at Fabric are the two homegrown challengers to the German domination of delicate and driving sounds. Border Community boss James Holden joins forces with Crosstown rebels Head honcho Damian Lazarus. James and Damian both have their own take on the whole minimal/ techno/ electro/ house phenomena (whatever you want to call it) with their genre bending sets conquering many crowds this summer. Action in the main room is equally eclectic. Swiss superstar Rob Insinna, aka Headman joins the lone swordsmen and artist behind the excellent Fabric 19 release Andrew Weatherall, while Lopazz plays live. Fabric resident and architect of new (and occasionally disturbed) sounds Craig Richards completes the room one line-up for this Bank Holiday weekend.
