- The reissue of the classic, vocal-heavy LP is out tomorrow.
Sasu Ripatti, AKA Vladislav Delay, is reissuing his 2000 album Vocalcity for its 20th anniversary.
The LP was the debut of Luomo, Ripatti's house-influenced side project which became one of his best known aliases alongside Vladislav Delay. Originally released on Force Tracks, Vocalcity was noted for its prominent use of vocals. It's one of Ripatti's most lauded albums, and it landed at number 13 on our list of the best albums of the 2000s.
The new version is fully remastered and comes as a triple-LP package, with each track given its own side of vinyl, on Ripatti's own self-titled label.
Last month, Ripatti released his most recent Vladislav Delay album, Rakka. There's also a reissue of another one of his LPs from 2000, Multila, out now.
