  • A documentary featuring experimental duo Space Afrika will premiere in Manchester next week. SEE MY WORLD: Manchester, Lagos & Me is a short documentary exploring the "cultural and political conditions for artists in Lagos and Manchester," including multidisciplinary artist Renzniro, poet and performance artist Deborah Johnson and musician and filmmaker Odunsi. A collaboration between Manchester organisations Big People Music (BPM), Big People Community CIC and Nigerian literary charity The Book Buzz Foundation, the production was funded by the British Council as part of BPM's wider See My World Festival, which documents and archives "the stories and experiences of the Pan-African diaspora." SEE MY WORLD: Manchester, Lagos & Me will premiere on Tuesday, March 26th, at Manchester venue Contact, alongside screenings in Lagos and Abuja in Nigeria. Watch a trailer.
