Three of Melbourne's finest explain the scene.
In the second half of our Australian RA Exchange special this week, we chat to Mike Callander, Craig McWhinney and Christian Vance of Haul Music. Based in Melbourne, the imprint has become one of the city's most highly visible outfits since its founding in 2008—much like its three protagonists. Prior to founding Hual, Callander, McWhinney and Vance were all respected artists in their own right, having spent most of the '00s as regulars on the local club circuit. Uniquely positioned to tell the story of Melbourne's past and present, RA's Sanjay Fernandes recently sat down with the trio to find out what makes the city special.
