The Cadenza boss sits down for an extended chat about his label and career.
If you're a regular reader of Resident Advisor, it's likely that you have an opinion about Luciano. The Cadenza head has been among your top 20 DJs ever since we started our yearly poll. He's responsible for a few of minimal techno's most indelible tracks, and his DJ sets in Ibiza at venues like DC-10, Ushuaia and, now, Pacha have cemented his reputation as one of the island's most recognizable draw cards. Through his Cadenza label, he's helped bring names like Reboot, Michel Cleis and Frivolous to the fore, and institutionalized a tropical-tinged brand of party house that's perhaps best personified in his recent mix CD, Vagabundos. In this RA Exchange, Luciano talked about all of this (and a little bit more) in a conversation that got beneath the surface with one of the world's most popular DJs.
