"Well its a yes and no for me.. the s4 is sure going to make waves in the industry. I am right now on CDJ and have been planning to go digital for a while. Almost bought the traktor software and Kontrol X1 when a friend of mine suggested I wait for this monster to launch. The time is almost here and I am surely switching.. mainly cus its saves me a lot of time burning cds, making playlists and also easy to travel.. But will it kill the CDJ industry ? I guess not.. Music being his obsession, DJ Aardy with over 13 years of experience in the industry, is one of the most sought after seniors behind decks from the city of Hyderabad, India His sounds are inspired by Uplifting rhythms, Progressive melody, bouncy baselines & Soulful breakdowns, that would arouse a journey to the other side of the ocean as his sets always possess an ecstatic release of energy.
Aardy started his career as a DJ in 1996 and has since then been a resident at various clubs across Hyderabad which includes 10 Downing street, Beat Route, Outswinger & Passport to name a few. He has also played at various Clubs in New York and Pittsburgh to jam packed rooms, during his stay in the States.
Ardy has then on pioneered a syndicate of DJs to perform in sync at 360º Club (formerly POISON) where he has shared the decks with most of the top DJs in the city.
Apart from spinning, Ardy is also chiefly involved in inviting top world talents like Dale Andersen (Global Underground), Djuma Soundsystems, Jody Wisternoff and DJs from Ministry of Sound (David James, Spencer Broughton, DJ Rae & Richard Murray) for a guest set in the city.
If there ever is a debate on redefining and educating dance music in Hyderabad, “Aardy” is a sure Shot on that list to have been an integral part of the progress.
