House is a feeling and house is the reason that inspired andre to spinn records in the beginning of the 90’s untill today.
Andre Gardeja
had started his early DJ career in 1992 performing at Berlin’s legendary house club ‘Walfisch’, today known as the world famous Sage Club. In 1997 to extend the popularity of the well established ‘Studio B’ brand, André founded a record store, was well named Studio B. Which attracted DJs from all over the world, who were aware about his unique
selection of rare releases and pumping vinyl.

The popularity got intensified thru the fortifying reputation of the DJ Andre Gardeja, who became an undisputed hero and got dominating in the Europaen club scene while playing in all major metropolises and summer festivals. Influenced by house, techno and minimal, it would be difficult to put his music into any category, but his sets always have both feets on the dancefloor.

The next important step in Andres career took place in 2001, he became the co-founder of the record-store and -label Freizeitglauben, as well as putting up an event series. Running these platforms and connecting different artists, event organisers and party crowd for now more than 10 years, André Gardeja developed himself and his name to an essential mastermind of the European House and Techno scene.

Unforgotten are his shows at MELT & FUSION Festival in Germany, PLOCK Festival in Poland, SONAR Festival in switzerland and CAMEL CIRCLE Events in Spain. The list of friends and DJs he performed with is endless, but a few like Jennifer Cardini, Ricardo Villalobos, Acid Maria, Ata & Heiko, MSO, The Mole, Zip and Thomas Melchior need to be
highlighted. The most popular locations Andre Gardeja is continuously playing are, in Berlin amongst others: Tresor, Maria, Arena Club, Berghain, Renate, and Bar 25.
Since 2006 Andre is producing his own tracks. Besides others he released on international labels like BLAQ REC from Mexico or was published on ENOUGH! from Berlin.
His perfect definition of house and minimal music always contains something subtle and multifarious. He is keeping his eyes on the dancefloor without loosing it, every sound, every snare, every drum fits totally.

Andre Gardeja is now traveling around the world, collecting music influences and bringing in his music culture to foreign countries. 2009 he experienced a great success during his first visit in India / New Delhi. While he was playing at India’s capital the crowd bounced to his beats and got him addicted to this incredible country. Since then he is visiting, arranging events and playing in New Delhi and several other Indian metropolises at least once a year for several month.

In 2010 he created a project together with the Geothe Institute (Max Müller Bhawan / New Delhi) and composed a CD compilation which features Indian and European artists from the electronic music scene. This Release was published on
his own record label Freizeitglauben. Since then André has not only found a second home in New Delhi, but also a second electronic music family.

The music event Circus of Groove, Andre brought up, is successfully running every winter period in New Delhi. Indian and also German Dj’s are playing on this bashes, as well as live acts, for example the Saxophonist Abhay Sharma
(New Delhi) or Rainer Pusch (GER) were arranged. You can say a whole circus of groove…
