UNUSUAL SOUND - kicking off the label with a great start. Artist's distributed on CD, vinyl, internet stores and new media.
Born in Madrid, Spain. Grew up in Mexico City, DF. Started playing guitar at age 7. Long history of playing guitar in alternative and jam bands since age 13. First synth was a Yamaha CS1x while in college in 1996 and use a simple version of cakewalk on a rudimentary Windows 95 PC with 2 GB memory and a parallel midi port - no additional equipment for recording, would record only onto a tape deck straight from the synth. Continued exploring producing electronic music in 2006 after working in video post-production for 2 years and having also worked as a social worker for 4 years. Began to DJ in 2008 with technics, friend's vinyls and Serato - almost immediately coordinated monthly events at the "Bubble House" as well as one time events at "Time Bohemian Absinthe Lounge", "Kung Fu Necktie", and an outdoors event at "Fairmount Park". Collaborated with several philly local musicians, vocalists and DJ's to produce music and events. I released with 2 labels - had top 10 best seller tracks for months for these labels on digital download sites (djdownloads, trackitdown, etc) and decided to break off and focus on supporting emerging artists to move forward towards success. This gave birth to Unusual Sound. d up to this date.

Founder of "Unusual Sound" Music label. A collective emerges with mindfulness and awareness of the facts. The healthy human condition is to live symbiotically with creative essence and freedom. Collectively we share the breaking of our own perceived barriers and limitations in celebrating beautiful and unusual sounds that are summoned for unison, a stream of expressive consciousness in fathomable and unfathomable forms of sound unfolding and manifesting. Our goal is to share these experiences with the world with a diversified perspective and approach. Unusual Sound is a global music collective with artists from UK, Japan, USA, Spain, Germany, Australia and several other major music cultural centers with good openness to electronic music, EDM and experimental music.

Humans are innately creative and have more creative essence at any given moment than what they will usually give themselves credit for in a lifetime.

It is our choice to choose freedom or to be bound to the hegemony of mass mental conformism, institutionally manufactured consent and oppression. Choose or have others choose for you unknowingly - it's your choice.
