Technasia mix for Ibiza Voice
Every human existence should have a soundtrack. This is the beginning of, what I believe, music is: part of everyones life. Early my lifestyle was based on music and every kind of music. As a little child I learn to play piano and have five years of classic music lessons about musical theory, rhythm and melodic arrangements. After that I changed piano to strings and start to learn classic guitar. It was not what I was looking for but it has been record in my inner soul. After that I played bass guitar in a punk-rock band for five years in the age of sixteen. We play in a few places in Portugal and record a CD with original tracks but after that I feel free to go… it was not for me also so I quit the band but music still in me. It was back in 1997 when I leave my parents home to study in south of Portugal. Algarve was a new place for me and, in the same time, top Djs were coming so often to a club called Locomia that I start to have the first real connections to electronic music and understand what was a dj job. How people were guide by that guy on the turntables thru a journey… A Journey Of Sound. That was a huge change in the way I saw music. How can a guy control all those people feelings, sensations and almost hopes? How could a man have the power to change things thru music? That had been record in my head for ever. Then, I started to buy some records and the need of absorbing all that information and the all new artists makes me a new musical full boom inside. After the beginning of the new millennium all the genders of electronic were reviewed and many influences gave me a base of knowledge and musical culture that leads me to whats music for me now. In 2001 I started to play some records for fun to a few friends for fun but five years have passed and I still have that passion. First of being a professional I am a music lover so I hope I can keep that for ever… Music is made from people and for the people and it has to be shared. I hope one day I can share mine with you and be part of your lifes soundtrack.
