Originally from Miami, DJ/Remixer/Producer, Eddie Chavez (a.k.a. DJ EMC) in known in the San Francisco Bay Area nightlife scene for his ability to entertain and mix commercial Top 40, Hip Hop, R&B, Latin, Electro, Dance and 80’s with traditional House music and his own original productions - creating an unique sound and style. Some early influences were Bay Area legend Cameron Paul, Jam Master Jay, Funkmaster Flex, Grandmaster Flash and more recently, Miguel Migs, Julius Papp, Kaskade, Booka Shade, David Guetta, Dennis Ferrer, Cristian Varela and Afrojack just to name a few.
Today, these influences, unique style and attention to his craft keep him focused on entertaining the masses, creating a driving energy that moves you on the dance floor and delivering a consistent flow of outstanding mixes, arrangements and mash-ups for a high-energy, chest-pounding and floor shaking experience!
Eddie's natural gift for crafting a funky, sexy, House-infused sound, has placed him at some of the finest clubs, lounges and venues in San Francisco, San Jose and beyond. Having an extensive musical background and eclectic taste, Eddie is not one pigeonhole himself to any genre of music and has recently turned his attention to producing and remixing in his studio. |
