About Gumzito /
Gumzito (Leruo Khabutlane to his mother) is a Producer/ Remixer/ DJ from Johannesburg, South Africa.
He's not really one for many words, but found a way to get himself heard by means of music back in 2006.
While being influenced by many local and international house music producers,
His style of house music cannot be really categorized as it moves between the deep & soulful sound, to Progressive House; a little bit of Tech and a lot of Deep-Afro (if I can put it that way).
Because of this variety of sound, I've been honored to have worked with various local (South African) and international producers.
Although been he's been an underground producer for some time, he only started releasing music (officially) in the beginning of the year 2010 with the release of the Spirit of Modjadji EP -
and because of the good response the EP got, more and more releases got lined up and it's been work-work-work since!
Currently he's busy with various other releases for his label 4Dimensional Music and also completing remixes for other artists.
