Bio: Based in Miami USA, Born in Caracas, Venezuela. Jefferson Castillo began his career as DJ at the age of 15 years old as a mobile DJ carrying all his lighting and gear to all of his gigs. He was influenced heavily from groups like the Pet Shop Boys, New order and Depeche Mode at that time. At the beginning of 1990 he dedicated himself to a very well known hometown radio station in Caracas, Venezuela as resident DJ. From there on, clubs throughout Caracas began recognizing him as great DJ with multiple ways to present music through different media. In 1994, he took on the most famous Club in Caracas called Hollywood as a resident DJ. With his original sets and sharp techniques on the mixer along with his music selection, all this opened a new area in his career as DJ/Producer. In 1996 he moved to Miami where he began as a guest DJ in different bars/clubs since his arrival. Some of those places include: La escuelita, Twist, Bar 609, Liquid, Pacha, Cameo Theater, Shadow Louge, Level, Clevelander, Honey, Tantra, Vip, Rush Street, Blue, The District, Cafeteria, Space, Amika, Mansion, Opium Garden, State, Nocturnal, Yage Bay Club And many more.
In 1999 he transformed his career as a DJ/Producer, producing different tracks edited in Colombia and Spain and put on the market by a record label BMG. He produced tracks like Vamonos, Let’s Jam the House and Cookie Dough Dynamo. His productions have been included in different CD compilations and also continues producing remixes for record labels like Sony Music and Lideres. Currently he is focusing all his knowledge and experience in the production of remix while maintaining a local DJ scene under the entertainment group called Evolution Session.
