Jonra is a long-time visionary of the Los Angeles electronic music scene. He has collected records for a better part of his life and draws from such pioneering influences as Kraftwerk, Yaz and Level 42. Since 1990, he has been a persistent fixture in the LA underground, having experienced such legendary SoCal events as Flammable Liquid, Fresh Produce and Citrus Sonic parties, and has also been host to several of his own parties, booking such influential talent as Recloose,Markus Nikolai, John Tejada, Mike Clark, Carl Craig, Ayro, Titonton Duvante, and Dan Curtin amongst others. Jonra continues to develop Designforms, pushing ahead a forward thinking sound that asks the questions. |
