Luca Evangelista (a.k.a. Luca Bigote) was born in Formia the 18th of February 1988.
He grew up in Gaeta, a small sea-side town on the Tirrenic coast between Rome and Naples. Now he lives in Rome and he also spent time in Barcelona and Siena (Tuscany), where his older brother lives.
The dj activity of his brother Benedetto (Benny Dj) was in fact the main influence on Luca’s first approach to music.
At the beginning, Luca is fascinated by the original house music, the one elaborated from the ideas of the so-called “classical” artist and enriched by famous voices.
As time goes by, Luca starts to broaden his musical horizons, becoming interested in more experimental genresbut most of all the genre that seems to him the most refined of all: deep-house.
His interest for the many diverse nuances of (not just) house sounds, let him stir and mix between different types of sonorities, so that his sets are fascinating and uniquely particular.
Next targets are focused on a parallel project called LAZYBUTCRAZY with his friend and colleague Matteo Lieto, on a growing numbers of nights and (we hope soon) on a new challenge called production.
