Morgan Alexander began building a sonic home in house music in the early nineties. Having relocated in 2005 from seasonal Boston to straight-sun Los Angeles, 2013 finds him with his fingers in as many musical pies as possible. Topping them is his respected series of underground events, Bottom Floor, where he is featured as resident DJ. The recent string of guest artists joining Morgan in the booth include the likes of John Tejada (Palette Recordings), Kai Alcé (NDATL Muzik), Chris Brann (Wamdue Project), Brett Dancer (Track Mode Recordings), Jordan Fields (MoWax), Jus-Ed (Underground Quality), Boo Williams (Strictly Jaz Unit), Daniel Bell (7th City), Recloose (Planet E), Mike Huckaby (S Y N T H), and DJ Sprinkles (Mule Musiq).
Morgan also runs and releases music on his newly formed Jack van Sloot Vinyl Recordings imprint. |
