"Nobody picks up the sample here? Really? How about it's a sped up Snoop Dog "Drop It Like It's Hot"

Yea, I think RA got a little too ahead of themselves by tossing this a 4 1/2. RA enjoys over rating stuff that nobody will even remember in about 5 weeks time. Anything 4 or over is usually a fad and anything they throw a 3 1/2 is usually the future classic. Think about it."

About mullins5287 / The Music Gourmandizer will forge the surrealism of Studio 54 with the grit of CBGB OMFUG. This idea of urban-chic will encompass disco, new wave, house, funk, electro and Italo.
"I'm the most terrific liar you ever saw in your life. It's awful. If I'm on my way to the store to buy a magazine, even, and somebody asks me where I'm going, I'm liable to say I'm going to the opera. It's terrible."
-Holden Caulfield (The Catcher in the Rye-J.D. Salinger)
::Welcome to the World of The Music Gourmandizer::
The Music Gourmandizer brand will take a bird's eye look at the world of music. If one enjoys a piece of music enough, they will certainly find a way to dance to it. With that philosophy in mind, all music is dance music. From the swinging bodies up in the Harlem lofts during the 1920s to the exodus of people shuffling across the Brooklyn bridge during the 1970s- from the present day folk jackin' their bodies back to the breakers and lofters of the 1980s, music has the power to move one's body and emotions. The Music Gourmandizer will forge the surrealism of Studio 54 with the grit of CBGB OMFUG. This idea of urban-chic will encompass disco, new wave, soul, funk, electro, italo, jazz and who knows what else-who cares really. Good music is good music. All good music has the adept ability to become popular at any given moment, so don't fear the pop. Just let the music carry you away...
"If you want to make someone feel emotion, you have to make them let go. Listening to something is an act of surrender"
-Brian Eno
The Music Gourmandizer will be a pop conduit aurally documenting the the successful balance of art v. commerce- the journey from the underground to pop culture.
"The D.J.’s became the stars, because the records came and went. There were one-hit wonders, there were major stars, there were records like Manu Dibango’s [Afro-jazz] “Soul Makossa,” but the D.J.’s were the ones who found a way to mix all this very disparate stuff and create a whole evening."
