"Nota dell'Autore": All tracks are mixed by hand with no computer assistance, bpm counter or any other electronic device such as e.g. Traktor SYNC...! Mixes are recorded in "*.wave" format through a digital recorder-converter (M-AUDIO MICROTRACK II). What is the source? ONLY VINYL RECORDS please! Save Vinyl!
"L'Autore": Some time ago, back in the 80', when the Neon Judgment LP's were still in the shops and I was growing up, I realised how precious Music is and how it can fill one's life! What would it be without it? Electronic Body Music was the word at that time!
"La storia": It is at the end of the 80', with the opening of the amazing Belgian Clubs [The Prestige (BE-Antwerp), la Gaité (BE-Brussels), le Boccaccio (BE-Destelbergen), le Café d'Anvers (BE-Antwerp)...], that I started mixing records. Then the Vaudeville (BE-Brussels), Club XXX (BE-Brussels), Mirano (BE-Brussels), Who's Who's (BE-Brussels) and the mighty La Rocca Ballroom (BE-Lier)... made up my musical culture. Dorian Gray in Frankfurt (DE), is maybe one of the greatest clubbing experiences I had... together with the Maniac Love in Tokyo. Incredible places! Vinyl Mania Records in New York gave me blood for my roots, back in the 90', where I found rare records such as the Frankie Knuckles "Your love", Bam Bam "Give it to me" or the supreme Master Boyz "House Nation"! At that time, getting the right tracks was an adventure...
And how can I forget "le Maldoror", one of the greatest night bars in Brussels, which hosted me as a DJ for a couple of years, in the beginning of the 90'!
