About Plagia /
Plagia is dj/ producer Nuno Chainho. He was born in Lisbon and is now living in Helsinki.
Plagia started djing in 98 in Lisbon's bohemian neighbourhood, Bairro Alto. Soon after he began studying Music Production and Sound in E.T.I.C. (Escola Técnica de Imagem e Comunicação).
After concluding his studies, in 2001, he started producing his own tracks. By then he was djing all around Portugal as part of dj collective Pulsar, runned by Jari Marjamäki a.k.a. Zentex.
Plagia was the first of a new generation of portuguese producers (electro/ minimal techno scene) to get international attention to his work. This happened with the 12" release on Thomas Brinkmann's Max Ernst label in 2003.
Since then he's been releasing his tracks on Glanzbild (Boxer, Kickboxer family), Bloop Recordings, Equilibria, Reiz Music, Bitflow Records and Aroma Music.
For the last 14 years Plagia has been djing In the most relevant clubs and festivals in:

He has played with Thomas Brinkmann, Mathias Schaffhäuser, Luke Slater, Luciano, Agoria, Zombie Nation, Popnebo, Water Lilly, Zentex, Arttu a.k.a. Lump, Imatran Voima, Mr. Velcro Fastener, Milla Lehto among many others.
