About ScotCox / Scot Cox has been producing music for several years, generating sounds with raw, unconfined beats that manipulate the dance floor. His intense work ethic and endless passion for music is reflected through each of the tracks he makes at Boston Audio Engineering LLC in Boston. His music has been played around the world by dj's such as, Victor Calderone, Danny Tenaglia, Joe T. Vanelli, Carlos Fauvrelle, Frank Maurel, D-Formation, Superchumbo, and Chus, to name a few.
As one quarter of Trebled Kids, Scot Cox expands his musical diversity through the forged partnership of America meets Italia. Their break came from their first release, 'I Bit The Apple' on TKC MUSIC. The track, as with all future projects by the group, is created in two separate studios between two different countries; where Pirupa & Ruggero lend their Italian drive to Scot Cox & Sal Lograsso's American flavor. Collaborating with TKC MUSIC founder, Chris Staropoli aka "That Kid Chris", they created their first original track 'Unite', that was debuted at WMC 2008 to a tremendous response. Scot was inspired by the response and they collaborated once again with a remix of Mindskap's 'Wonderland'(TKC MUSIC).
Before producing music, Scot Cox began his journey spinning in clubs thoughout New England, Rhode Island, New York, England, Albania, and Portugal. Working closely with the promotional teams, Aftadark, Insomnia, and Volume, he became one of the residents at Rhode Island's after-hours, Club Therapy, which housed some of the world's top djs in dance.
Knowing that globally the dance industry is a vast collection of genres, the music of Scot Cox is sure to be boundless. The attention, pressure and constant evolution of new up-and-coming talent has pushed him to develop his sound and grow as a dj and a producer. Influenced by cultural music differences, he promises to captivate the world's dancefloors and generate a new era of dance music. |
