Bio:
Solau is a Dutch artist who has an open mind when it comes to music. Being brought up with music of the Beatles, Miles Davis to Mozart he has a wide variety in musical taste. When he started DJ-ing in 2002 his musical past haunted him. On stage he brings a variation of sounds: from deep ambient tracks to melodic house before going on with stomping Detroit techno, always respecting the classics and heritage.

During the last few years Solau's agenda has changed from part-time DJ-ing to regular gigs at Dubshop and Invite. He played several small and big venues all over Holland such as Buddha Bar, Panama, So What, Huize Maas, Bootleg & Whoosah.

In the summer of 2011 he took the Dutch festival-scene by storm closing both the "Invite Stage" at FreeYourMind and "The Bridge" at Extrema Outdoor (NL).
Nowadays Solau is busy putting together his very own concept “LTRS”. Focussing on new talent combined with well known skilled performers the concept strives to complement the clubbing-scene with nights of quality music.

Solau mainly performs with a digital set-up that consists 4 decks, Native Instruments Traktor Scratch Pro and Maschine. Being into new developments be sure he brings the latest digital supplements to the dancefloor. Still his love for vinyl is strong and he plays them out exclusively on some occasions. As he is also heavily interested in producing his own music, the future will surely bring some Solau tracks.
