Kritzkom, Dj Set at Barbie Deinhoff

About stereonucleose /
Stereonucleose is Kritzkom (Marine Drouan) and Borusiade (Miruna Boruzescu).
Kritzkom is originary from Nantes, France and has been producing electronic experimental music since 2002 . Some of her early tracks were played in the alternative radio show “Home Radio” at Radio Nova in France. She had a few live appearances in Paris and in Bucharest at the Rokolectiv Festival supporting artists like Dandy Jack and Sonja Moonear.
Borusiade has been a DJ in the Bucharest electronic scene since 2003. She can be considered as one of the first Romanian female Djs. In 2005 she was part of the electro/new wave band Hector as a singer and keyboard player but unfortunately the project didn't live long. 2008 she started producing music alone as well. She never stopped djing and recently she supported Andrew Weatherall and Teenage Fantasy in a Bucharest gig.

Coming from different backgrounds, musically as also geographically, the first track of Stereonucleose was produced for the Open:Sounds contest supported by Electric Indigo's electronic music platform, Female:Pressure.
The name was chosen to represent the two artists at once and the track they submitted was a remix/re-edit of Electric Indigo's "Dirty Floor", transformed into "On The Floor". Unexpected, the track won a place on the Female:Pressure DVD 1, released in March 2008 in Vienna. This came like a positive impulse for the new formed Stereonucleose. Moving to Berlin in autumn 2007, they started slowly to conquer the electronic underground scene of the city as a mind-blowing dj team.
Starting in the small but very well known queer bar Barbie Deinhoff's, they played in almost all the queer/electronic/alternative parties of Berlin having a climax on the day of the Berliner Transgeniale Gay Pride 2009 when, playing music on a truck in Oranienstrasse, they had an audience of not less than 2000 people which danced until the police came the night.
Stereonucleose continues producing tracks and this autumn 2009 they have released a 12” Split Single with the Danish electronic duo Alloy Alloy on the very fresh label, COMFORTZONE, based in Vienna.

In their dj-sets, Stereonucleose are bold and energetic. They create a clever combination of different 4/4 beat genres, mainly minimal , dark and electro Techno and minimal deep house, but they don't mind droping some ghetto or acid house tracks, making their sets even more explosive.
Their production is mostly playful experimental electro but it's continuously evolving to a more homogenous techno set to be performed live in the near future..
