About Therrmaitz / Therr Maitz is an electronic band based in Moscow. At the moment the band consists of 4 musicians: Anton Belyaev (lead singer, keyboards, programming, composer), Boris Ionov (drums), Artem Tildikov (bass), Nicholas Sarabyanov (guitar). The band works in various styles, from trip-hop to dance electronics. The band exists since 2004.
The debut track has been released by the German record label "Compost" and it's been included to the "Future Sounds Of Jazz" album. Some tracks have been released in different albums of electronic music. Therr Maitz performed and worked together with Benni Bennasi, Jonny Fleck, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Lisa Show and Bent.
Therr Maitz story starts in the Far East of Russia in 2004. During the year Therr maitz played in clubs of Khabarovsk and Vladivostok. In 2005 Therr Maitz has signed a contract with the Japanese promotion company for a series of club performances in Tokyo and Kyoto. Upon returning from Japan, the musicians decided to move to Moscow. Since 2006, when the Moscow period started, the band has been recording new songs, developing the style. During that period they temporarily stopped their concert activity. In 2009 they released their first full-length album, titled Sweet Oldies. The album included compositions created between 2004 and 2008. Thus, the band divided its earlier and actual periods of its life.
In 2010 Therr Maitz begins their "live" work with new musicians. The band recorded some new tracks in Brazil and performed them in Moscow clubs: the Cargo Bar, the Belka Bar. Therr Maitz takes part in the "Jazz festival in Archangelskoye"; "MIGZ Festival"; "Kazantip"; "Jazz Parking" & others.. Their track is published on the festival's official CD. The band has appeared and played concert at the "Dojd" TV not once. Therr Maitz gets more popular every day.
