Tiilakk/Boxx Group Berlin

Dirk Oberstädt, born in a town called Blankenburg (located in the Harz mountains) in June 1987, is also very known as Tiilakk.

After many adventures in the sandbox and the tree house in the Harz mountains, music started to play a very important role in his life.

Artists like Wolfsheim, Depeche Mode, Samy Deluxe, Torch, Jay-Z and many more inspired him.

At the turn of the Millenium, Tiilakk decided to do more than listening to music. So he began mixing tapes and later he started playing Hip Hop and Black records.

However, it was not what he was looking for. In search of his definition of music he went out for numerous nights in famous clubs around the Harz mountains with his friends Spedro, Audífono and Stefanatic. Through his playground love Spedro he witnessed the development from Chill Out music to Minimal.
Thereby he fell in love with technoid sounds and he cannot live without it till this day.

After his move to Berlin in 2009, his interest in clubs and parties became enormous and it totally captured him.
Due to his growing inspiration from his early love, who now is his flat mate and musical role model, it was only a matter of time until Spedro and Tiilakk decided to dig into Berlin's music scene and to make people dance to electronic music. Henceforth, he played on the same parties like Andreas Henneberg, Daniel Dreier, Smash TV, Andy Kohlmann and other famous DJs from Berlin.
