Born in the days when vinyl & tape was king, Thokozani "TPS" Simelane was bound to be lost into the vibes of house. This Johannesburg (South Africa) born deep house producer and remixer first got hooked and started experimenting with house production in his late high school years. He currently releases under the TPS and Underground Approved moniker. He has been releasing a number of original works, remixes and collaborations on various labels including Kula, 659 records, VEEE records, Simfonika, SugarShock, Souldeep inc. just to name a few, and continues to network with label heads the world over. His influences stem from various genres, friends, sounds, and house classics(in short too many to mention) and continues to grow with every bit of music he manages to get his hands on. His sound is best described as a modern mixture of organic sounds, with a influence from classic analogue equipment. This is one experimental deep house producer/remixer who continues to challenge himself by harnessing his raw talents & expanding his knowledge of sound and production techniques. One artist to definately keep an eye on.
