Detek was founded in 2008 by long standing Detroit promoter and techno mainstay, Gabe Real. The company is a Detroit-based techno record label that produces refined dance music and experiential events. Their initial roster boasts talent spanning the globe, including artists such as Deepchild, Monty Luke, ATAXIA, MEANS and ENDS, Stone Owl, E. Spleece and in-house VJ and visual artist VGER. Detek's ambitious forthcoming release schedule is accompanied by the imprint's equally ambitious tour schedule; with club dates, large-scale events and festival after parties spanning the continent. Detek has gained a reputation worldwide for their sophisticated take on the all-night techno marathon event, setting the stage for their eminent label launch.
