Lostbahnhof was born of a reaction against the homogeneity that fills up a typical weekend's club listings guide. Born of a belief that every party deserves to be different. It all starts with the choice of venue. Find somewhere unusual. Somewhere people won't have been before. And then encourage incongruity –surprise is what makes for a great night. It was this logic, or lack of, that saw jacking Chicago acid transported to a sweaty Balkan basement for a Notting Hill Carnival afterparty last year. And the same kind of logic that took a Shoreditch office Christmas party and turned it into a UK rave reminiscence that sought to find the missing link between speed garage and early 90s progressive house.
