Strøm is a Danish festival for electronic music established in 2007 in cooperation with several of the most important innovators in the Danish electronic music world. It is a weeklong festival held at various venues (indoors and outdoors) celebrating all aspects and genres of electronic music. Strøm’s goal
is to be the premier electronic music event in Northern Europe, featuring electronic music accessible for everybody, with a wide selection of free-for-all events all over Copenhagen. Strøm brings together some of the most progressive event makers, DJ’s and booking agents in Copenhagen, which this year include: Thomas Knak, Thomas Madvig, Pernille Krog Mogensen, Kristian Kjøller, Linus Ellesøe and Åsmund Boye Kverneland.
The 2012 edition drew over 20.000 guests and featured over sixty events, with a line-up that included Richie Hawtin, Octave One, Henrik Schwarz, Major Lazer, A Guy Called Gerald, Marshall Jefferson and many more.
