New Leeds based House/Techno vinyl & digital label
It's no secret that Leeds has a rich and expansive electronic music culture, with artists cutting their teeth in the city's bright lights and varied sounds developing their craft along the way. It's no surprise then that more and more talented young producers are making their way up north.
We've wanted for a long time to capture that energy that these UK artists create, and we're happy to say that Slipstone Records, a new digital and vinyl label, will do just that.
We're not about big names and claptrap two a penny club tunes, we're about undiscovered artists delivering emotive music across the house and techno spectrum. The sort of artists that will be there from the moment they lay down the first kick drum until their last record is cut.
At the end of the day, we're not about appearances. Slipstone is here to be a platform for young, talented producers to sculpt their craft and deliver it to a wider audience through the art of vinyl. And that's all there is to it.
Sticking with our ethos of homegrown talent, we're looking for budding artists and designers to get involved with creating new and original pieces of work to be used as artwork for our releases.
