Yeah No Recordings is gaining a reputation as one of the hottest underground labels around. Set up by the elusive underground electronica act The Fix
The labels first release, The Fix ‘Being Stoopid’ caused more damage than a bull in a china shop. The catchy tech builder was was licensed to Andy Cato’s (Groove Armada) ‘Ministry Sessions’ and to Nic Fanciulli and James Zabelia’s ‘One + One’ compilation.
The second release, The Fix ‘Medication Time / Anesthetic Ep’ sent even bigger shockwaves through the underground and was featured on Azuli’s ‘Miami 2007,’ and Roger Sanchez’ ‘After Dark 3’. Compilation
The Fix 3rd Ep ‘Roll the Dice / Damp Patch’ again received respect across the board. It was championed by the likes of Ambivalent, Jon Carter and James Talk and was licensed to the ‘Space Ibiza 2007’ Compilation.
Released in November 07, The Fix ‘Foggy/ Misty Ep’ received support from some of the coolest heads in the scene, and charted top 10 on Beatport tech house chart
2008 started off with the release of a remix package of The Fix’ best selling Ep to date (Medication Time / Anesthetic). Rob Mello and Mr G, were asked to remix the Ep. There was also an exclusive edit of Medication Time by Andy Cato’ (Groove Armada) PackUpAndDance Label.
The next single ‘Duck Butter’ was released in April 08 and included a remix from a super talented argentinian producer Tala. Once again the tracks received praise from some of the coolest heads on the block, Sascha Funke, James Zabelia, Nic Fanculli, Johhny D, and Rob Mello all bigged up this quacking release.
A collaboration between The Fix and one of Germany' up and coming production talents The Cuba Ep features 4 proper house tracks. The Fix' spellbinding hypnotic epic 'Havana' plus a darker twisted remix by The Fix. Superlounges warm deep summery excursion Cuba also features a Fix edit. All tracks wil be releaseed on Beatport mid July and all other formatts mid August.
