Lost My Dog

About

  • Lost My Dog has enjoyed a steady rise to the top since forming in a Loughborough record shop in 2005. It was a case of ‘right place, right time’ at the beginning: Pete Dafeet’s early productions were catching the eye of Yousef, Blakkat, and the Shaboom crew, while Najan Ward owned the town’s best record shop and employed Ian Straker as a part-time buyer. 7 years and more than 60 releases later, the three have eschewed short-lived trends while working with the cream of the deep house crop. AtJazz, Ian Pooley, Burnski, and Huxley have all featured, helping Lost My Dog to win a place in the hearts of many a DJ – from house pioneers like Laurent Garnier, Pete Tong, and Kerri Chandler to the new school of big names in Luciano, DJ T, Mosca, and Maya Jane Coles. Put succinctly by DJ Mag, “Lost My Dog release vibrant house music with balls of steel.”
