The label was launched in June 08 with the purpose of putting out music that speaks on the dance-floor from artists we respect and continually focused on the deeper , techier side of things. The label debuted with an original track from Boshell & Cody who served up a slice of jagged tech house along with a creative package of remixes from Ben Shaw(Sunscape) and Royal Sapien.
Support for the label so far has come from the far corners of the globe including dj's like Hernan Cattaneo, Matthew Dekay, Greg Benz(Benz & MD), Moshic, Chloe Harris, James Talk, Kris Needs, Francesco Farfa, Eelke Kleijn, Chris Cargo, Flash Brothers, Slok & Jacob Todd to name only a handful.
With the second release from the label, a stunning double header from Fady Ferraye, Amalgam pushed out further with the added edge of remixes from legendary producers Pole Folder & CP and Irish producer Silinder receiving wide acclaim from dj's and music publications such as Dj Mag, Dmc Update, Only 4 djs magazine and Sound Revolt.
