Stereo Tension Records is a montreal based House Musiclabel.
The label was founded in 2007 by Ellroy in Ukraine. At first it was an opportunity for Ellroy to developp his own style as a producer, a mix of Electro-House and Breaks. Entering 2008 the style of the music evolved more around Tech-House and Progressive House welcoming more artists onto his journey. Zipmix, Pure Emotions, S.E.T.H., Misha Jet, Meyens, all young producers from Ukraine and Russia got their first releasewith the help of Ellroy.

Things changed a bit for the label when Ellroy moved to Montreal in 2010. He met there Thomas Courribet, with whom he now manages the label. Stereo Tension Records is slowly but surely establishing themselves within Montreal active and profilific underground electronic music scene. Montreal has many talents and the label his on a mission to grow that talent and make it known worlwide. The roster of artist Stereo Tension Records has collaborated with in Montreal now includes. Alexei Sopin, UCP Music, Jeff Fontaine, Oly Arsenal, NashOne, Lucie Lebel, Matt Lee, Subtle Trouble DJ, Pierre de Lux, X-Cube and Kressel.

Making contact abroad as well as in Montreal things started to pick up with the release from a young producer from Russia, Enformig. His beautifully crafted Tech-House track Default climbed to 53 in the Beatport top 100 sellers. It got released again on Deep Space III alongside tracks by such acclaimed producers as Martin Buttrich, Steve Lawler, Karol XVII & MB Valence, Nick Curly all mixed by George Perry for ZYX Music Germany.

X-Cube & Kressel first collaboration on the label,Doesn’t Matter EP has been making waves accumulating great feedback and the support of Erick Morillo, Sander Kleinenberg, D-Formation, Bad Boy Bill, Denis A, Bobina, Mara, Nic Fanciulli, Anjunabeats, Mat Zo, Stephan Grondin, Julian Prince, Steven Caicedo and many more.
