E.A.R is the brainchild of Mr Jacob Kelly. Jacob Kelly is the former co-owner of one of the strongest underground house labels of the last 5 years - Baker Street Recordings. Jacob recently sold his half of that successful label to put all of his concentration and experience into E.A.R.
The idea behind the label is pretty much defined by it’s name - an "avenue" for "eclectic" music. E.A.R intends to put out quality music taking inspiration from all genres, therefore never being tied down to one particular genre thus making sure it never gets pigeonholed. The result? A label that has the freedom to produce classic music that is able to move in any direction it may feel.
Of course, with Jacob’s solid history as DJ, Producer and Label Owner there will be an essence of dance. However, it will be music that will still be able to stand it’s ground in years to come.
E.A.R will be run as a serious record label for serious music and will employ some of the most sought after producers and remixers of the current time.
E.A.R. will release all of their productions on vinyl, giving the buyer, collector and DJ the knowledge that every track has been carefully mastered for maximum listening and DJing quality.
