The Stranjjur imprint is the brainchild of NYC producer and DJ, Kev Obrien; who has been organizing events and DJing under the Stranjjur guise over the past few years; introducing some of house and techno's newest shining stars to the big apple.

Since 2009, up and coming stalwarts such as Milton Jackson, MANIK, Carlo Lio, Alex Niggemann, Kruse & Nuernberg, Till von Sein and many others have all made their big debuts in New York under the Stranjjur NYC banner; the event series that focuses it's mission statement on introducing 'stranjjurs' (pronounced Strangers)' to the City that Never Sleeps.

Fast forward to 2011, and the next logical step for Kev and Stranjjur as a whole, was to use the same A&R principals and philosophy that made the events a success, toward creating an even more exciting and meaningful platform aimed at helping up and coming artists get their message to the world. Hence, in summer 2011, the Stranjjur Imprint will be born, ran in unison by Kev and fellow NYC DJ/Producer Chris Luzz, who also forms the Manattan Projject alias alongside Obrien.

After less than one year since it's launch, the imprint has already been called as one of the fastest rising brands by dj mag usa, after a string of releases from artists, such as include H.O.S.H., Lula Circus, Pezzner, M A N I K, Kris Wadsworth, Karmon, Marcin Czubala, Audio Soul Project, Miguel Puente, wiLDKaTS, and more.

But the best is yet to come.. As the label sets it's sights globally for 2013, recently launching Stranjjur Agenc whch will handle management and bookings for much of the imprints roster and signing artist such as Gab Rhome , freestyle man, kolombo and more for their releases for early 2013 ...stay tuned...
